Eagle Creek Campground. Please be mindful of the parking lot space and other users.
BIGHORN CAMPGROUND --- CLOSED due to FLOODING
We do not anticipate re-opening of the Bighorn Campground until the spring of 2023. We had a positive meeting with the government representatives with respect to the re-opening and will be working closely with them to create a plan to fix the flooding so it does not happen again.
This will be a very costly endeavour and any donations to help with the project would be greatly appreciated. As of now, donations can be made
via e-transfer to foesa1994@gmail.com
IF you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email us at the above email.

OVERVIEW
In February 1994, Friends of the Eastern Slopes Association was incorporated as a not-for-profit society. The group took on as their first project the Bighorn Campground located on the Parks Canada Ya Ha Tinda Ranch. They negotiated with Parks Canada to take over as the stewards of the campground. Over the intervening years, through positive, proactive volunteer efforts, Friends of the Eastern Slopes Association:
THANK YOU!
Friends of the Eastern Slopes would like to thank
WEST FRASER MILLS
for their financial support
which has given us the opportunity to do the many
upgrades and expansions at our campgrounds.
Their commitment to our forests make this all possible
We would like to send a huge Thank You to our generous Sponsors, Donators and attendees of our Annual General Meeting and Boot's & Blue Jean Event held at Timber River Station, April 30, 2022. The event was yet another success!
Without your kind love and support, this association would not be where it is today! Thank & Support your local small business
